Intertakt is an interval timer for HIIT, Tabata, EMOM and office workout complexes. Most timer apps put the workout on a screen — a color flip and a shrinking number you are supposed to catch mid-round. Here the intervals arrive as sound: a clear voice announces every interval and its halfway mark, countdown beeps lead into every change, and the playlist you already had on stays on — independent volumes for music, voice and beeps, no forced ducking.

Once a session starts, the screen has no job. The phone can lie face-down or go into a pocket on Do Not Disturb; the session survives incoming calls and app switches, and an interrupted round resumes from the exact second it stopped. Offline-first, no account needed.
