Build Mode

Build Mode is a unique time tracking application designed specifically for Mac users who need a simple yet effective way to visualize their focused work. By emphasizing privacy and ease of use, Build Mode allows individuals—whether they are founders, students, writers, or anyone else— to track their time without unnecessary complexity. With a single keyboard shortcut, users can seamlessly enter ‘build mode' to begin logging their productive hours, ensuring that they only count the time spent actively working, thus excluding idle periods. The app categorizes your hours according to different work modes and allows customization to suit varying tasks. Build Mode compiles your work into a visually engaging card that highlights your productivity across daily, weekly, and yearly perspectives. This enables users to look back at their efforts and appreciate the progress they’ve made over time, which can be especially motivating in creative or entrepreneurial pursuits. Additionally, Build Mode takes confidentiality seriously— there are no accounts, no screenshots, and no cloud storage; everything is stored locally on your Mac. For just a one-time payment, users unlock ongoing access to a tool that helps them build a clearer understanding of how their time is spent and proves invaluable for maintaining focus and accountability in their projects.
