The top launch of week 44 doesn't use AI and doesn't promise more traffic. It tells you how many bags of concrete you need for your patio.

That's GQ Calc, and founders voted it to the top with 6 upvotes.

Fifteen startups went live on Monday, Oct 26, and the community cast 36 upvotes. We also have a new sponsor to welcome. The full board is at /launches/2026/44.

Week 44 winners

1. GQ Calc (6 points)

GQ Calc is a collection of free construction and home improvement calculators. Concrete, masonry, drywall, flooring, tile, lumber, roofing, and landscaping are all covered, in US and metric units.

It handles the annoying parts too: waste, package rounding, and project cost. If you've ever bought too little tile and made a second trip to the store, you get it.

2. RankWorker (5 points)

RankWorker writes SEO articles for you, aimed at traffic from Google, Bing, and AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

The pitch is short and clear: more organic traffic, less content work. Of the four SEO tools on the board this week, it got the most votes.

3. Random Country Generator (4 points)

Random Country Generator picks a country at random and helps you learn about it.

It's simple, free, and it does one thing. That's why it works. Teachers, trivia fans, and anyone planning a "where should we go?" trip can use it in five seconds.

Sponsors of the week

Two sponsors this week, and one of them is new.

mxverify joined on Oct 26. It's a free backlink checker that tells you what a link from any website is worth before you spend time or money chasing it. If you're submitting to directories after your launch, run them through it first.

Nick Launches is still here, as it has been since July. It's a launch platform for builders with free growth guides and a backlink for every listing.

Thank you both. Want to join them? Sponsored spots are open.

Editor's picks

A few more launches from week 44 worth a look:

  • DropReady is a virtual waiting room for online stores. When a product drop brings more traffic than your server can take, visitors queue fairly instead of crashing the site. It plugs into PrestaShop, WooCommerce, and others with a single PHP file.
  • BidPage lets creators auction their sponsorships. You package a Reel, Story, or pinned post, and sponsors bid against each other in the open.
  • SEOFarmer connects to your Google Search Console and turns your own data into SEO recommendations, with live keyword research included.
  • Text Differ compares two versions of any text side by side and highlights the changes. It's free and runs in your browser.
  • Screen Tester checks a monitor for dead pixels, color, brightness, gamma, and sharpness problems. Handy before you return a new display.

The rest of the week 44 board

  • SEOFarmer, 3 points.
  • Aloyemek.com, 2 points. A food ordering platform in Turkey.
  • BidPage, 2 points.
  • DropReady, 2 points.
  • Lonvi PCC1, 2 points. An oral supplement taken three days a month.
  • Screen Tester, 2 points.
  • Text Differ, 2 points.
  • VisibilityStack, 2 points. An agency that helps brands get recommended in AI search.
  • Cursive Generator, 1 point. Cursive text, signature styles, and handwriting practice.
  • LaunchAF, 1 point. A weekly board of what founders shipped.
  • MiniMax H3 AI Video Generator, 1 point. Short videos from text and references.
  • Prizvox, 1 point. An AI search visibility platform that audits technical health and content.

What week 44 tells you about launching

Popular categories reward a sharp angle. RankWorker, SEOFarmer, VisibilityStack, and Prizvox all launched for founders with an SEO problem, and together they earned 11 votes. RankWorker led the group with a one-line pitch: more organic traffic, less content work.

Before you pick a launch week, check what else is on the board and make your angle clear in the tagline.

Free tools make easy upvotes. GQ Calc, Random Country Generator, Text Differ, and Screen Tester ask nothing of the voter. No sign-up, no trial, just a page that works. If you have a free tool or a free tier, lead with it on launch day.

Launching in week 45?

Week 45 started today, Monday, Nov 2. Submit your startup with a launch date this week, check who else is on the board, and make the free part of your product easy to find.
