Before you claim one virtual billboard: preparation is not a reservation
The Only Billboard
Oct 19, 2026
3 min read
A small price is not a complete description of an ad placement. In The Only Billboard, the next person takes over one live virtual frame. That makes the preparation useful—but it does not turn the purchase into a reservation for a fixed number of days.
As checked on October 20, 2026, IOCUS occupies the live frame after the fourth paid takeover at $4. The next takeover is $5. Earlier creatives from RELVE, Brick500 and Drummond Hearing remain in public History. Those are placement records, not evidence of a particular return on advertising spend.
Start with the canvas
The current claim page asks for a 16:9 image, at least 1920×1080, in JPG, PNG or WEBP format. Prepare the message for that rectangle and inspect the preview crop before moving on. A logo alone may identify a brand; a complete creative can also tell a visitor what it is looking at and where to go next. That is a design suggestion, not a measured performance claim.
Check the details separately
The form has an ad title, destination link and email address. An X account is optional and may help our team find the appropriate social profile for promotional mentions. It is not a substitute for the destination link, and leaving it blank should not invent a social identity. Keep the message on the image consistent with the page it leads to.
Rights come before checkout
Uploading a creative does not give someone rights to a photograph, logo or claim they do not already have. The claim flow asks advertisers to confirm their permissions and responsibility. Its automated surface check looks for visible hard flags; that is not a blanket verification of every copyright, endorsement or statement.
Read the boundary of the purchase
The page offers PayPal, Base USDC and Solana USDC. Before choosing any route, read the displayed rules and terms. The site states that there are no refunds after approval/payment and no guaranteed minimum display time. An ad may also be removed after publication if a problem is found.
A later approved, paid takeover replaces the live creative. The previous ad moves into public History; another slot is not added. This is a virtual web project, not a physical roadside billboard. Traffic, clicks, sales and future takeovers are not promised.
The practical distinction is simple: preparation makes the submission ready for review; it does not reserve an audience or a duration. We are sharing the existing flow, not announcing a new feature or claiming that this checklist improved conversions.
