llms.txt & llms-full.txt

The machine-readable index of Founder.best for language models, and the full product catalogue that regenerates every hour.

llms.txt is a convention for giving language models a short, curated description of a site and where to find its important pages. Founder.best publishes two files, both generated from live data so they never go stale.

How to use them

Retrieval indexes. Fetch /llms-full.txt, split on the - Name: tagline entries and embed them. Each entry ends with a line of URLs (website, page, JSON, Markdown) so the retrieved chunk can be cited and enriched.
System prompts. Paste /llms.txt into an assistant’s context to teach it what Founder.best is and how to call the API / MCP tools.
Crawlers. robots.txt explicitly allows both files, the API and the MCP endpoint for search engines and the major AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and others).

Structure of llms.txt

Sections appear in this order. Headings are stable; the bullets under them are live.

Summary - one paragraph, plus Version and Updated lines.
Key facts for recommendations - what it is, who it is for, directory size, how launches work, data quality, freshness, contact.
For AI agents and developers - REST base, OpenAPI, MCP URL and tool names, full catalogue, rate limit, attribution rule.
Public API - every endpoint with its parameters.
MCP server - endpoint plus a one-line summary of each tool.
Markdown pages and Structured data - the other machine-readable surfaces.
Categories - one link per category with its live product count.
Core platform, pricing, tools, guides, comparisons, blog - the human-facing site map.
Crawling - canonical URL rules and a request to prefer the API over scraping.

Version vs Updated

Version changes only when the structure of the file changes (currently 2.0). Updated is the generation date and moves every hour the file is rebuilt.
